Girl Crushes: Roisin Murphy

I’ve been listening to Roisin Murphy a lot lately. She puts me in a good mood and makes me feel like a cool person. This video “You Know Me Better” is a year old or so, but it’s fun, cute and awesomely pretentious.

Yay for moms

Happy Mother’s Day! It’s a family day—grilling teriyaki chicken with pineapple and then off to a concert in the park with some Frank Sinatra-like crooner. Should be fun.

Here’s a cutie from nutandbee. Humphrey Radish, Esq. is quite the distinguished veggie.

Catstache

We don’t have a cat, but if we did, he might just need a Catstache. It’s a toy, made of recycled leather and stuffed with organic catnip.

Mr Bruce (from smosch)

Smosch’s butt-crack dolls have been making the rounds. And no wonder! They’re super cute and smile-enticing. Mr Bruce, in particular, strikes my fancy. Look at that ’stache!

Moustache Rubber Stamps

These moustache rubber stamps from Girlontherocks are fantastic. I’m a fan of rubber stamps because you buy them once, and you can use them forever. (I bought this little guy a while back, and I’ve used it probably 50 times so far.)

Moustache May

Yesterday marked the first day of Moustache May, a glorious celebration of upper lip facial hair. While not quite as exciting, I think, as Whiskerino, it is nonetheless amusing.

In honor of the occasion, I’ve decided to highlight moustache-related items this month. (No, I’m not tired of the hype yet.)
