My sister is expecting her first wee one, and I’m having the most fun planning her baby shower. Here are the invitations and subsequently, my first try with zee Gocco. White ink is kind of tricky, I discovered, as it begins to significantly fade within minutes of printing.

I don’t know what it is that makes the beloved weiner dog such an icon. Maybe it’s the long snout. Or the floppy ears. Or the short legs. Or the fact that they look like walking sausages. Whatever it is, they’re darn cute, and everyone seems to think so. They’re all over the place from personalized stationary to bobble heads to salt & pepper shakers to children’s books.

After a two-year hiatus from the blogging world, I’ve decided to return! During that time I met and married my husband, almost finally but not quite yet finished my bachelor’s degree and found a new love of handmade things. Since developing a recent penchant for female decorating and craft-driven blogs, I thought, “Why not join them?” So here is something fresh, something new, and something not totally like before.
